SEMCAT is designed with security in mind, and our password storage mechanism is no exception. Carrier passwords are encrypted at rest and in transit using both RSA & 256-bit AES encryption keyed using a unique user-specific key as recommended in GLB.
In the usual case, SEMCAT will greatly enhance the password security in your office - replacing such systems as Post-It notes on monitors or frantic password changes via plain-text email.
